Recruitment

Hello and Welcome!

We meet on Wednesday nights in Kenilworth and to teach and practice dances at all levels.

You should know a few things about us before you consider joining. The minimum age for dancing out is 16. We don’t have an upper age limit - so long as you match our acclaimed style of energetic and precise dancing!

We’ll help you achieve this at the practices every Wednesday night and, when the foreman decides you’re ready, you’ll be invited to sort out your kit, including the purchase of clogs, and then join us for our first dance of the season.

We recruit in the Autumn, allowing time to learn some dances ready to perform in public from April.
If you are are interested (would-be dancers and musicians) please contact either Dy or Linda so we can give you more details when we start recruiting again.

Charities

Money, Money, Money

Each season Chinewrde members elect one or two charities to benefit from their fundraising efforts. Usually these resonate in a personal way for one or more of our members.

Chinewrde’s charity for 2011 is Asthma UK, which we are supporting by sponsoring Jas Payne, who successfully completed the London Marathon.

Funds raised come from donations made by the public at our performances, sponsorship and specific fundraising activities.
